A good friend of mine grew up in Russia. The book used for teaching English in his school was called Introduction to Inglish....

great!

I thought of two more:
  • The Sentence and It's Parts (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0226492605/splorgdotorg/)

I found this book at Moe's a few weeks ago. You'd think that the author of a grammar book would know the difference between its and it's. It becomes slightly excusable when one realizes that it's a book on Sanskrit (?) grammar.

And the next one had got to be the great grand-daddy of them all, the result of a Portuguese effort in 1855 to construct an English-language phrasebook using a Portuguese-to-French dictionary and a French-to-English dictionary.
  • English As She Is Spoke (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/097190474X/splorgdotorg/)
