Nifty: The aurora I saw yesterday was featured with the astronomy picture of the day from apod. (Although it wasn't quite that intense from New York as the APOD picture.) Go someplace dark with a view to the north and you might see it too!

Also, it's snowing... so much geophysical/meteorological excitement!

ohh I want to see the aurora so bad... I've been obsessed with it since I read a book about it when I was like 7 and I've never seen it cause I've been up north but only in summer. Too bad I live in California...
