I woke up in a capsule hotel, ate ramen and gyoza for lunch, took the Shinkansen bullet train to Tokyo, rode the subways for forty minutes, and now find myself at home in my own tiny airbnb apartment out in the Adachi-ku suburbs of Tokyo.
