I am entertaining myself by alternately pouring acids and bases down the sink, in an attempt to unclog it.

It's surprisingly exciting!

It's a little stick with spring-loaded flappy arms on it, used to measure the internal diameter of a well. I don't know if they make them small enough for household plubming...
