On Friday I am going to Ann Arbor for the "NASCO Institute" co-op extravaganza. It should be great fun roadtripping out there: Jonathan, Owen, Joanna, Bree, Jimmy, and Luke are coming too. We're staying at the Georgia O'Keeffe house, part of the big co-op system at University of Michigan.

By comparison, we stayed at Eugene Debbs House the year before and it was superb. Residents were very friendly and cozily co-opy. They invited us to stay in their rooms, prepared beds for us, etc. At Vail we were just left to the couch cushions.
Fortunately, you can run around and visit all of the co-ops during the NASCO evenings, and maybe crash at them too (though space is a bit scarce with so many people in town).
