I went with a bunch of my housemates to Nickel City co-op this weekend, in Buffalo.

I didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few.

We cooked dinner in Nickel City's awesome kitchen. Those countertops are made from old bowling alleys. That's Adrien from NASCO chopping the cabbage.

We ate dinner and talked the issues facing about our co-ops.

There was a bit of a jam session.

Ant Hill Co-op officers' meeting at Boulder Coffee Co. [livejournal.com profile] pallas_marisa joined us for the evening, and we met some of the awesome people from South and Elmwood too.

Wait, you know [livejournal.com profile] pallas_marisa from Berkeley? Small world. Get this: she's my ex-roomie's (http://www.livejournal.com/users/stellarbaby/) sister's (http://www.livejournal.com/users/meemoo/) friend. I think I met her in Grenoble (that's Grenoble in my userpic) while visiting ex-roomie's (and ex-roomie's sister's) family.

You may be thinking of a Marissa from Ridge, as opposed to this Marisa from Stebbins.

Yeah, I met [livejournal.com profile] lexicat and [livejournal.com profile] confuseme back in '96 in [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves and [livejournal.com profile] cloudycloud's dorm room. That's way before [livejournal.com profile] stellarbaby was in town, though. When did you come by our place? '03? Anyway, I see you've been over chillin' with the Boston people. This is a strange social tangle we've got going on.
