So, today my bicycle was stolen.

I'm told it was probably the UCSD Police who took it.

Maybe I'll get it back tomorrow. Maybe not.

The bicycle policies on UCSD campus are ridiculous. Bicycles are forbidden almost everywhere during the day, but everyone ignores the rules... there are even bike racks, and people even drive golfcartythings on the paths that forbid bikes and skateboards. I hate duplicity like that. Anyways, witnesses say my bicycle was cited and then impounded for being parked illegally. Lamest thing ever.

I did get my bike back.

I'm working at Scripps Institute of Oceanography / San Diego Supercomputer Center on the ROADNet (http://roadnet.ucsd.edu/) project. But only for two more weeks!
