Chihuahua, Chihuahua

Greetings from Chihuahua—seems like Texas,though I've never been there. American southwestish.

Our ride out of Creel was with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)—as if my elementary school fundraising efforts (selling cupcakes to save the rainforest) came back in the karmic cycle. Drove down from the mountains over an unpaved backroad, visiting a Taruhumara communtiy where the WWF is working with them on sustainable agriculture projects.

Tonight: Bus to Zapatecas (11 hours).
