Check out this book I found in a box in the garage... Mexico from the Driver's Seat: Tales of the Road from Baja to the Yucatan (ISBN 1-878166-04-2) by Mike Nelson... check out the vehicle pictured on the cover. (-:

There is a chapter, "Driving to the Copper Canyon." It begins: "If you've ever heard the call of a new road beckoning you, or like Joseph Conrad longed for the 'blank spots on the map,' the nI've got a road for you!" (swoon!)

During one particularly great Christmas, I received my first oscilloscope (from [livejournal.com profile] jqmold), and a copy of Turbo Pascal 3.0, with which I learned to program (another picture).
