Kenny ([livejournal.com profile] easwaran) took me out to the Symphony this evening, which was a pretty fun experience. We heard four selections from Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream and then a symphony by Bruckner. I'm completely illiterate musically, but it was still fun!

Yesterday our Esperanto class got a special treat... We met up with a group of Esperantists who meet regularly at a café down on Shattuck. I could tell that Stellet was a little nervous... undoubtably hoping that her seven students would meet with the approval of the other Esperantists. It went great though; starting from the basic Kio estas via nomo? we had a really nice conversation. Xylar in particular seemed to thrive on the experience, and thanked me for "dragging" him to the first Esperanto class back in Februrary.
We'll be showing Best In Show and Waiting for Guffman at 10pm tonight (thursday) at the Oscar Wilde House (2410 Warring Street)... you're all welcome!
