Whoa, what a Saturday. I've been running around for the last three hours trying to sell football parking at our co-op. It's pretty hard when the frats nearby are all out en masse with their barbeques; and the sorority next door managed to fill up their parking lot in less than ten minutes by sending out half the house to do cheerleader exercises in the street. It was kind of funny watching the SUV's drive up and then waver... sorority girls? barbeque? sorority girls? barbeque? Irrationally most seemed to choose to park with the sorority girls... They could have had FREE MEAT AND BEER but chose instead to make a gaggle of girls clad in tight blue and gold to giggle. I guess it is a hard choice.

Oh yeah, so what's going on is that it's a FOOTBALL SATURDAY, which means that thirty thousand some odd persons are innundating this here neighborhood to attend the Cal-Arizona football game. Most of the frat/sorority/co-op houses around here park their own cars far away and then sell off the available parking to football-fans starting at $30 a pop. Most of the frats throw in a "free barbeque" for good measure. We only managed to sell 4 spots this time.. but with only two men on the job.
