Cairo or bust!

Perhaps I should introduce this expedition for those who are just tuning in. Ever since I was invited to Israel I've been scheming to visit Jordan as well. Pretty soon Taylan and I got the crazy idea to add Cairo to the itinerary, and these ridiculous plans began to take shape. Unfortuantely, in the end, Taylan couldn't come. Dushan was denied a Jordanian visa. But Toni remained on-board, so on the first of August we cashed our paychecks from the previous month in all of their $350 glory and set out into Arabia...
