Wandered around the city most of the day, reading and thinking. In the evening I met Rose, Eija, Lidia, a French guy, and Andy at Kulturen for a little Swedish class "class reunion." Unfortunately I got there an hour late and Rose and Eija left right when I got there. (Photo) Andy and the French guy had to run off for various reasons, so then it was just me and Lidia. First running back to Delphi to collect some things, we went to Hallands nation and its was lots of fun.

Hallands nation was really great. Not just because they played two songs by Pulp (Common People and later, ), but because it was really fun to be there with Lidia. She speaks only Swedish to me (she's German) and I couldn't understand her at all last term, when we were actually in class together. But now I can understand her almost perfectly, so communication is no longer a problem. She's been studying physics here this term and has applied to the new Teknisk Matematik program for next term, which is really cool — that's exactly what I'd study (well, maybe... I've been saying I'd study English) if I were to begin all over again.
