It seems the June Gloom has rolled in right on schedule. Well, a week early, to be fair. It's an effect of California weather I've never understood. The spring is warm and the summer is hot, but June is always drizzly and cold.

Weather was *perfect* on M-W this week. In fact, I've been to SF three times this year (February, April, and May) and the weather has been the same all three times--sunny, mild, and slightly breezy. Gosh, if I didn't know better, I'd think it was always like that. :-)

I know it's cliche to talk about "microclimates" in SF, but it's really true! The downtown can be hot and sunny and meanwhile it's freezing cold in the Richmond district. A funny place.
