flight instruction

Every year or so I start thinking about learning to fly and getting a pilot's license. Usually these thoughts are quickly quelled when I realize again how impractical private planes are as a means of transportation, and how expensive it is at all stages. But lately the flying thoughts have not subsided so quickly, and I've gotten to the point of contacting flight instructors. Maybe I'll do this.
