Moving to Los Angeles

We have had several days to recuperate here in suburban Orange County, but now it is time to find a base of operations for our existence in Pasadena. We're driving up tomorrow (Thursday) and probably couchsurfing until we find an apartment/house of our own. Unfortunately the craigslist selections for Pasadena look kind of dismal, not to mention expensive.
