It looks like all of New Mexico is messed up from last night's storm. Both I-40 and I-25 are closed in parts and a large fraction of the state in under travel advisory. But it's bright and sunny now in Alamogordo and it looks like things are lighting up to the north, so we'll give it a go.

We're camped out at the Santa Fe Baking Company in snowy Santa Fe (at which we arrived via the usual wifi-seeking random walk), enjoying a warm bowl of chicken-zucchini soup while scouring the internet for accomodations. Looks like going up the road to Los Alamos to stay with dolinski is pretty much out of the question; it's only 36 miles but frozen and allegedly treacherous.
