We're at the Knoxville, TN central library searching for possible Couchsurfing opportunities to the West. Today we drove through Great Smoky Mountains National Park, took a walk on the Appalacian trail, and then descended into the hells known as "Gatlinsburg" and "Pigeon Forge."

I think I'm allergic to Barbecue. Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester always agreed with me just fine, but twice at other places I've gotten a bad stomach ache. I guess it makes sense--barbecue is smoked over hardwoods like Hickory, and I know I am allergic to tree-nuts. )-:
