Robotmedia is a student club where people make short ("3 minute") films for periodic showcases, each having a simple theme. The club started at Berkeley and has since spread to Austin, Davis, Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York. I went to a couple of the showcases at Berkeley before I moved to Sweden, and at one of them I bought a CD of the films from Showcase 4, whose themes were "Public Transporation" and "Loop." I just rediscovered this CD, and I've uploaded the films to Youtube for your amusement. I find them terribly endearing:
