back from ann arbor

Home at last, safe and sound. For Doug, Bree, and I, it was a quick 7 hours and ten minutes trip back through Canada, including a stop at Niagara Falls. On the way we met the single most ornary Canadian I've ever met (the immigration officer... apparently running the stop signs leading up to the border doesn't endear you to them :-) and the single nicest American immigration officer. There was some debate whether our shorter route would give us the lead over Amol's crazy driving (he was driving back through Ohio)... I think he actually would have actually beaten us had his car not, distracted with glee from the day's adventures, missed the Interstate 90 transition...

It's good to be home.

Slightly less than a year after its inception, the Rochester Wiki has been selected by the The City Newspaper (the local newsweeky) as part of their Best Of Rochester edition. It's pretty thrilling to see one of our projects recognized in this way!
