I forgot to tell you about Sunday. It's our Indian Summer now and on Sunday the day was bright and clear and warm, maybe 24 degrees C or more, and Sue's birthday. I must have sat for four hours in the garden with the butterflys and speckled particles in the air and Sue and Tori's friends, a very pleasant gentry. I remarked to Rob ([livejournal.com profile] hypostatization) that it was a requiem for summer, but what I really meant was a celebration of it, my quasi-religious view that at t = ∞ we'll all come together at the Indian Summer travelers' paradise at the north pole of the Riemann sphere.

I've pretty much moved into a new office at school, where several of the first-years are, so we can all work on homework. The others there are Jen ([livejournal.com profile] __jen__), Dan, and Sarah. I've moved in a bunch of my textbooks and acquired a key. Usually when we're working on homework problems I feel totally incompetent, but yesterday we worked on the quantum assignment, a subject in which i am reasonably proficient, and was all over the blackboards. It was awesome. School is looking up these days.

I may get to have an adventure tomorrow.
