There comes a time in the history of every organisation where the founders are voted out of office.

Congratulations on your fine performance in Saturday's programming contest. Alas, you have both indicated to me that you do not meet the eligibility requirements for the ACM contests, so I can't put you on our teams this year, much as I'd like to. Still, I hope you enjoyed yourselves and have a pleasant semester.

[Peppers at the Public Market]

At the public market on Saturday I was really wowed by this pepper merchant. It warms my heart (and tummy!) that such a variety of peppers are available in Rochester. Someone else noticed too; she took this picture and posted it on [livejournal.com profile] rochesterpics. The public market is one of my favorite things in Rochester.
