kanellebulle
Dec. 3rd, 2004 01:29 pmMy levels of slackertude have reached utterly ridiculous levels. I can only hope for redemption...
It snowed a little during the night, leaving a light dusting on the ground. It's very pretty. It's sunny and cold outside (the best).
Brette (narrow_bridge) came over last night. She and Ryan and I had collard greens, beets (yum!), and hamburgers for dinner. Alas, we don't have any ketchup in the house (?!) nor, really, any hamburger fixings other than the meat itself. So I had a hummus-and-barbeque-sauce hamburger. (-: Brette called our house the "House of Cute Boys and Qin" which I thought was pretty funny.
I think I will plod off to school now, mainly in search of food. Then I will work on my homework which has been piling up. alas! I prefer to work on my homework by myself, and I prefer not to stay up all night. Following these preferences, the homework has not been getting done.
I did not follow anything in quantum lecture yesterday, except "O(4)=O(3)⊗O(3)", a statement that was at least in a recognizable language (even if the content of the statement seemed a little suspect). In the library I ran into another student from that class who seemed to be just wandering aimlessly, as if, shell-shocked, he'd pre-emptively given up on the assignment. I don't know what the deal is: the textbooks (Sakurai and Shankar) are crystal clear, but the lectures... during the last two, I had to suppress my urge to walk out and do something more productive with my time.
Right now I want to: have a brie baguette, kanellebulle, and coffee, and read about category theory.
This weekend I may: get a new tire for my car, go grocery shopping, retrieve my scarf from kim&ann's house, study.
