Well, break is almost over and I've accomplished very little of what I set out to do. Hopefully I don't sound too much like Marvin the depressed robot. S-: I spent most of today up on the hill with Jason, where I read most of King Lear. Yeah, I'm behind in my reading. Brilliant weather today, nice and warm. People starting trickling in again today. Sarah was home in time for dinner, rosy from sunshine and smiling, seemingly in good spirits after a nice break. That made me happy. Noteworthy comment: "You're not quiet. You just want us to think you're quiet!" Eh?
Tacked up on the wall there's a university policy document titled "The Definition of Hazing." "Hazing," it says, "includes any method of initiation or pre-initiation into a student organisation or any pastime of amusement engaged in with respect to such an organisation which causes, or is likely to cause, bodily danger, physical harm, ,or personal degradation or disgrace resulting in physical or mental harm." Next to this someone has pencilled in, "Knowledge of Unix."
