I have to write in some kind of journal just to keep track of time, even if nothing interesting is going on. Today I had cause to reference my Swedish journal; I'm glad I wrote all that down... I should get back into the habit.

I'm really behind in Complex Analysis right now. I need to spend some serious time learning that material. I find this class far less intuitive than I have the math classes I've taken previously, yet I can see that lurking in the mist is some really cool mathematics. I have a midterm in this class on Thursday, so tomorrow's the day to learn it. (-:

The other big thing I have to do is to get this next R5B paper behind me. Our co-op is going on a camping trip of sorts down to Monterrey this weekend and I fear I might have to stay home to work on my schoolwork. )-:

Halloween is Thursday. Don't have a costume yet, don't know if I'll find one. Will probably go to the Castro celebration with the house. On Friday we're having an in-house party which promises to rock. Simultaneously, Leigh is having a houseparty as well, and I think I'll at least drop by. Anna will probably be there and I'm kind of curious to see her since she's been totally noncommunicative for the last n weeks, after blowing off our houseparty, to my pronounced disappointment.

My friend and I decided to take a road trip to New York. We made bets that our car wouldn't make it past New Mexico. It broke down somewhere between Phoenix and Tucson. Greyhound took us the rest of the way. When we finally arrived in New York, we spent our perspiring nights turning on the sweating wood floors of my I-banker friend's loft and our days watching his "Sex and the City" DVDs. This was our failed version of ``On The Road'' madness.
