school is killing me.

School is killing me. certainly i'm taking too many classes, but that's not so unusual. maybe I'm just out of the habit of being a student in the American system, having become comfortable in the rather forgiving, supportive Swedish system. Anyway, school is sucking the life out me. Chris, who has also just started school here again, commented: "Was it always like this?" I have no time to decompress, relax, and enjoy life here. And that's ridiculous! I'm taking one CS project course (CS 164, Programming Languages and Compilers) and I'd really rather not take it. But I need a few more units of upper division EECS in order to graduate, so I guess I need to suffer through one last CS course. The other class which I actively hate is Scandinavian R5B. I know, I know, it's a Scandinavian course, how could I hate it? But, you see, we must write these tiresome papers which I find completely uninspiring and actually rather stressful. Meh. I will talk to my SAO tomorrow and see if I can drop CS 164 and still graduate.
