I don't know what kind of meteorological intuition the Swedes have but yesterday my history teacher announced with great confidence that the weather should be great from here on out. Today was bright and sunny; birds were chirping, music was playing at Stortorget (a tribute to Fadime and to international women's rights day), and, most exciting of all, the ice cream store on Stortorget opened again! So you can just imagine all the Swedes sitting there in rows on Stortorget, licking their icecream cones in synchrony, faces upturned to meet the radiant sun (which is climbing noticably higher and higher in the southern sky)...
