1. Spending ample time fishing and rafting the rivers here and doing some light travel to Portland and Seattle in between. Also working my ass off to try and publish something worthwhile.

She's a Seattle native and a transplant to Eugene. Works as a staff attorney for the state of OR at the worker's comp. board.
Haven't told my family yet, but we'll be in SoCal in a week+ to relay the news. It's slowly started to trickle out through the grapevines. Told her family this past week. Everyone was pretty thrilled about it, and I had a very successful first date with her brother.
1. Painted a boat and then sailed it in Norway, currently being in California for a week. The rest of the summer will probably be the same old in New Jersey.

Got the British comedy right, but the Bolton thing is from a rather famous Monty Python sketch. :-) I've seen most of the seasons of Red Dwarf, but I'm for some reason having trouble remembering that ep. Heh. Fun show though. :-)
1.) It's winter here, but is the time people come and visit me, so much of the winter has been entertaining visitors. Following their departure, I'll be going to New Zealand while my visa renews. Also, I'm trying to start, work on, and finish a sweater that I promised I'd knit for Brian for our first anniversary. I'm trying to do that before our second anniversary! 2.) All of a sudden I've started thinking about living in Australia permanently.

2. in victoria, (british columbia, canada) they have BED races. where nurses push people in hospital beds. i wonder if they push sick people? such fun.
