1. Spending ample time fishing and rafting the rivers here and doing some light travel to Portland and Seattle in between. Also working my ass off to try and publish something worthwhile.

1. Painted a boat and then sailed it in Norway, currently being in California for a week. The rest of the summer will probably be the same old in New Jersey.

1.) It's winter here, but is the time people come and visit me, so much of the winter has been entertaining visitors. Following their departure, I'll be going to New Zealand while my visa renews. Also, I'm trying to start, work on, and finish a sweater that I promised I'd knit for Brian for our first anniversary. I'm trying to do that before our second anniversary!
2.) All of a sudden I've started thinking about living in Australia permanently.

1. home in sf. roadtrip up the coast through portland and seattle to the san juan islands.

2. in victoria, (british columbia, canada) they have BED races. where nurses push people in hospital beds. i wonder if they push sick people? such fun.
