Got myself a headset! The flight school where I did my training had a supply of headsets to loan out to students. Renting an airplane elsewhere, I'll need my own. I bought these from someone found on the Minneapolis craigslist.

I can honestly say I've never thought of scouring other-than-local craigslists. Well done! How did you handle shipping?

I just asked if he'd ship and he agreed. Google makes searching all of craigslist pretty easy: just put "site:craigslist.org" in the search. On the left of the search results, there is an option to only show results from the last 24 hrs, 3 days, 1 week, etc.
