front-yard garden

Some of my neighbors have this great little vegetable garden in their front yard. Maybe I should plant one too! (This picture's from back in February!)

Mr. Tobin, I sincerely endorse any endeavor of yours to emulate your neighbors garden.

When I saw this I thought, "Wow, Tobin's going to be eating some chard!"
Drat, it's not yours. Maybe you better get right on that.
Or be Peter Rabbit and go nibble someone else's chard.

Their dirt looks like its full of clay!

Plant away! I just started tomatoes and zucchini for the summer. I have muscadine, meyer lemon and loquat permanently planted.

I'm a big fan of front yard gardens. Why waste that space on a lawn? Lawns are for sports. Edible yards rock (and taste good!). Sylvan (and Sherri) are transforming our side yard from lawn to a "bird garden".

You should definitely plant an garden, and then you should import the white kitty so that he can help you fertilize it.
