(no subject)

Ah yes, Wednesday, Wednesday the Happy Day. Homework is done (or at least turned in), no more teaching duties until Monday, no homework due tomorrow, and by virtue of oversleeping, I'm rested and ready to go. In other words: an unencumbered afternoon in which to actually accomplish something!

Oh, I must become less of a procrastinator (when it comes to my homework). Actually, I need to find a research project.

My entries from a year ago (titled berkeley berkeley, berkeley: why live anywhere else??, from oscar wilde, aurora adventures, the days are just packed) make me wistful. Alas, my plans for a San Francisco Halloween have been axed by the liberal sprinkeling of midterms: on Oct 29 (e/m), Nov 2 (quantum), and Nov 3 (math). boo!

p.s. I just created a [livejournal.com profile] rochester_coop community for notes related to that project.

somewhere very very far away indeed, a small schmancy in a truly tiny fluffle skirt shed and emotear.

and this emotear trailed down her face and set a keyboard on fire.

which set the rest of berkeley on fire.

so there's nothing to visit anyway.

happy unbirthday. (=

hi tobin

tobin, this is kind of weird because i don't know you, but i just wanted to say hi. i found your lj in the spring when i was agonizing over grad school decisions, looking for info on berkeley, and, in general, procrastinating:) so i ended up coming to berkeley! i, of course, really love it here, and i wanted to thank you for your wiki and the scruplulous attention to detail that characterizes your entries, which has allowed me, the new kid, to find endless cool stuff to do around here. and i've really enjoyed your pictures and travel stories too, as i study eastern europe (i'm so jealous that you've been to tallinn!). so yeah, thanks so much, and have fun in rochester:)good luck with the yard sales!

feel free to work on the wiki too... someone needs to take over. (-:

welcome to berkeley.

There's the most important final of our lives on November 2. Make sure you vote. And everyone in Ohio and Pennsylvania does too. I should call my brother, since he's in Columbus.
