Into the Wilde, part zero

Every semester seems to have its theme, it's own unique character, and this one is colored strongly by my change of living situation. I've moved into the co-ops, and moreover, directly into the Oscar Wilde House, which happens to be the first co-op house in America with a Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Transgender (GLBT) theme. It's turning out to be quite a nice place to live, and a rather unusual experience; as I am straight I am in an odd sort of minority in the house. I have been thinking that this is a good opportunity for an interesting writing project, so I thought I'd begin here just by listing my housemates' names, just to get something down "on paper" to get this project started. Living here, in addition to me, are: Alex, Allegra, Aviva, Amanda, Cambria, Courtney, Dawn, Emma, Eric, Haley, Jade, Jason, Jamie, Jeff, Jen, John, Julia, Katherine, Kenny, Kyle, Livi, Mellisa, Michael, Nick, Oliva, Patrick, Rebekah, Robert, Ronald, Sam, Kim, Sarah, Sean, Sheyna, Steven, Sun, Taylan, Vanessa, and Xyler. That's the Wilde House population this semester. Perhaps in the next installment I'll introduce some of them.
