Going on a picnic

I really can't believe it's the end of April already. It's to the point where we part with ``and if I don't see you again, I'll write!'' Anyway, today was great, and fits snugly into the `life of luxury' paradigm. I met Solveig at half eleven and we bought some milk and fil and lemons at ICA. I said Hi to the nice girl at the bakery, and then Solveig and I set about making waffles. It was sunny out, much to everyone's delight (the forecast was for rain) and all was just peachy. We made up a batch of waffles, stuffed them into rucksacks, and set out for Krischansta Nation for our little International Utskott picnic.

Outside Krischansta we met up with Nina Neumann, Nina Kokkonen, a French-Canadian named Martin, and a German guy named Thomas who was leading our expedition. We packed up our things and cycled out, down Tornavägen, turned left and rode out past Sparta, and soon we were out on the other side of the expressway in uncharted (but undeniably scenic!) territory.

Don't you think it's a bit funny that French Canadians come all this way to Sweden to learn English?

database gizmo

I'd like to work out that online gizmo I've been thinking about, before I get to Israel. I'd like to have the infrastructure in place so that I can start using it immediately when I get there. It'll be a web page thing for use in these "internship"-like engagements; to keep track of people, events, journal entries, photographs.
