Wall-mart

I have lots of questions about phonons. Can you answer them?

P.S. Wall-mart is more evil than I thought. Have you met NASCAR Dad? (New York Times stories; use username "splorguser" password "sp4all" if you want)

evil doesn't quite cover it. that is the worst thing I have heard in quite some time. they tell us in history class that america abolished slavery in the 1860's, but that is a lie. locking people up in their workplace = slavery. I'm angry now.

Wal-Mart freely acknowledges shifting its health care costs to taxpayers and responsible employers. A company spokesperson said, "[Wal-Mart employees] who choose not to participate in [Wal-Mart's health plan] usually get their health-care benefits from a spouse or the state or federal government." Wal-Mart is the biggest beneficiary of its health plan because the company shifts $1 billion in health care costs to the government and responsible employers. — wallmart myths and realities (http://www.flagstaffactivist.org/campaigns/walmyths.html)

On the 'evil communist china' front — the U.S. is currently holding hundreds of prisoners in indefinite captivity in Cuba, in secret, without charging them for a crime or declaring them prisoners of war. It's just so ridiculous!
