Some neighbors put up red, white, and blue 'christmas' lights on their house. This brought me a smile. It's refreshing to see, for once, jubilation at a political and historic event.
I wish it were today so I could watch it. I said to my colleague last week, "Remember, Tuesday is the Inauguration. We probably want to allow for a little TV viewing."
His response: "Oh, we don't have time....we have --- --- coming up."
