Shipyards eviction

The ShipyardI was amused to notice that one of my snapshots from a recent Berkeley trip was used on BoingBoing. Apparently the Shipyards is being evicted from Berkeley. Sad, but you kind of saw it coming.

That place is really cool! My band played there last summer at a party – and it was raining and there were firebreathing sculptures. Sad to hear the news. :(
