I'm apparently going to be in Washington, DC around Sept. 6-10. This is marginally closer to NY than Portland is--but probably too far for a visit, yes?

Any suggestions on housing? I'm currently thinking 'hostel.'

Rochester is 400 miles due north of Washington DC, so the distance is the same as Berkeley to Los Angeles. If the dates work, though, I might be interested in coming down to DC. Will you have spare time to hang out?
