daily cal column?

So, it's that time of the year again: the Daily Californian is looking for columnists. I've long thought it would be cool to be a columnist (although actually I suspect my inclination is actually towards journalism, not, eh, columnism) and several of my friends are quite supportive of the idea. So, I open up the floor for you to opine upon the query: if you had a column, what would you do with it?

I had a lot of fun with my Mustang Daily column. No heavy rhetoric of any kind, just random observations on life. And I'd get emails every week from people who had read it and had something to say about it. Always fun. :-)
