daily cal column?

So, it's that time of the year again: the Daily Californian is looking for columnists. I've long thought it would be cool to be a columnist (although actually I suspect my inclination is actually towards journalism, not, eh, columnism) and several of my friends are quite supportive of the idea. So, I open up the floor for you to opine upon the query: if you had a column, what would you do with it?

Go ahead and try out for it! I hope you make it because the daily cal could use some spice. if I had a column I would talk about liberal politics though. Because I have this strong belief in fairness. But I guess that isn“t what so many people want to read.

isn't it hard to find anything BUT liberalism in this area, generally to an extreme?

A weekly column... easiest would be to, for instance, summarize a week of slashdot, or something like that.

or an article on a word randomly pulled from the dictionary.

or about sex on days other than tuesday, or abstinence on tuesday.

you could have a weekly poll for what your next topic would be. :)

la. :)
