Facebook message that went into the 'other' folder: "Oh my goodness, I will never forget that you made a stereogram for the school newspaper in junior high. I thought that was so cool that you knew how to make them!!"
Her memory is better than mine. I have no idea who this person is, but she remembers correctly!
The other message in my Facebook spam folder is "My name is Jarel and I am a Software Engineer recruiter at Google." Srsly, can't the GOOG recruiters use regular email? They always message me on obscure social networking sites rather than sending a simple email. Also, it's always a different recruiter. And I always reply with interest but never hear back. They kind of seem like Nigerian 419 scammers.
