Maclura Pomifera (alien spore fruit!)

We found this alien spore fruit on the sidewalk the other day:


Back at the office, Sarah researched the matter and found out that the alien spore fruit is also known as the Osage Orange (Maclura Pomifera)!


I'm not sure what happened next.
