clocks

I was thinking about clocks earlier today (having just finished The Solitaire Mystery, which includes a calendar system based on playing cards, exploiting the equivalence between there being 52 weeks and there being 52 cards and other numerical novelties) and came to realize that there are as many months as there are hours on a clock face -- so why not have a month hand on the clock? There are a few annoyances (one of which being that I'd prefer to have the summer solstice at "noon") but I think I'd rather go to sleep than write about it. (-:

Remember that IEASTE thing I applied to, for a summer internship in some other country? They just got back today with the jobs list and it looks like there are some good possibilities.
