man, nonstop work! not enough hours in the day.

i had to refresh my memory of how to solve linear systems of differential equations, which was somewhat nifty. if y'=Ay then you just take the eigenvectors {v1, v2, ...} and eigenvalues {lambda1, lambda2, ...} of A, and assemble solutions y(t)=c_1 exp(lambda_1 t) v_1 + c_2 exp(lambda_2 t) v_2, ... . so cute.

have to decide on a grad school! actually, i think i've already decided, but i will nonetheless post it as a poll if I get around to it before the deadline. (-:

oh oh EIGENS!! and and linear systems of differential equations! They are my current forte. how sweet that you are also stooping to observe and play with them.

as for Rochester, i suppose i'll have to hurry up and fringe that scarf. a scarf is nothing without its fringe. <3

So you're still leaning towards the lasers, eh? Perhaps you can have the best of both worlds by building LASER-WIELDING ROBOTS!! In fact, I will be disappointed if you don't. They should shoot from their eyes..... that's something I've always wished I could do.
