Compact Flash recovery

oh no! The compactflash containing my pictures from rochester, bodega bay, pittsburgh, and the bohemian highway was accidentally formatted! so... no pictures for you. for now.

I suspect that it's possible to recover the images from the formatted compact flash. Does anyone have a compact flash card reader that I could borrow? (USB or PCMCIA interface?)

Of course, they're also only $9.99 for the 8-in-1 reader at Fry's.

I'm not sure if formatted CF can be recovered. I know corrupted CF can, but formatted... Tell if you can recover it.

I have a pcmcia compact flash reader that you could borrow if you promise to actually return it and stuff, but I'll be very surprised if you manage to recover anything.
