John and I have been playing phone-tag today. It turns out he's in Washington, DC.. I wonder what he's doing there? Other phone related news: I can use Cingular's network now with my ATT Wireless account! Yay for capitalism! Hehe. Cingular's network has full signal strength in this hotel room, but ATT has just zero or one bars of signal. Funny, I thought that 'bar' was a unit of barametric presure...

Yikes! what do they charge you for using someone else's network?!?

Cingular bought ATT Wireless last week. They're now the same company, so you can use either network.

But you might be right... the phone will let me choose T-mobile as well, so I wonder what the deal is.

So the answer to "how much does it cost" is probably "$0.69/min," but I'm still not sure, since this doesn't happen in California, and I have the "nationwide roaming plan." who knows...
